Adding on Mr. Fahim Malyar's comment, according to Mr. Taheri's Facebook fan page,
Sayed Ihsanuddin Taheri attended many conferences nationally and internationally, which were held about Afghanistan and the young generation of the country. He also contributed in those meetings and conferences by analyzing current situations and submitting his recommendations. He is an active member of the peace process in his country; as a young Afghan he took part in the historical processes such as Constitution making, First-ever Presidential Elections, Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Peace Jirga, and Consultative Loya Jirga for talks on Afghan – American Strategic Partnership. In all these processes, he was working for his country considering national advantages where he was lobbying with the community invited members for the sake of his country’s future status in the world.
Mr. Taheri is always considering how to remove the gap between the rich and the poor; how to help poor families and students by making the environment friendly. He is quoted as saying, "Working for the poor and helping them is a wish that I want to convert into reality."

I have known Sayed Ihsanuddin Taheri for almost all my life and have witnessed his hard work and commitment to the welbeing of his people. During the Taliban when he was still a very young man and had fled Afghanistan to Pakistan, he was involved in many educational programs for Afghan refugee children. The programs included native and foreign language classes, computer programs and sports.
When he returned to Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban, Mr. Taheri returned to Afghanistan along of many other Afghans with a great desire and determination to take part in the reconstruction of his country and to help the young democracy in Afghanistan.
Since 2001, Mr. Taheri has held senior positions in different levels of the government of Afghanistan. He started as personal assistant and adviser to Nematollah Shahrani, the then vice president of Afghanistan.
In all the posts he has held, Mr. Taheri's prime objective has been to contribute, to the best of his authority, to the rebuilding of all Afghan institutions, the growth of the role of the youth and women in all spheres of life in the country and defending human rights.
Over the past two to three years, Sayed Ihsanuddin Taheri has been working at the Afghan Ministry of Education where, according to himself, he has the best opportunity to have greater contribution in rebuilding the country's devastated education system.
In addition to that, Mr. Taheri heads Afghanistan's newly-revived Education Radio/TV that airs educational programs in major cities in the country.
Sayed Ihsanuddin Taheri has attended several conferences inside and outside Afghanistan representing his country on issues like role of the youth, government's achievements over the past few years, and the new process of democratization in Afghanistan.
On a recent visit to The Netherlands on the invitation of the Universal Peace Federation, Mr. Taheri received a honorary certificate introducing him as the new UAF (Universal Peace Federation) Ambassador for Peace.
What I have written above is only a brief and limited description of Mr. Taheri's achievements and activities in Afghanistan and on the international level. Having achieved already so much in a young age, I am sure Mr. Taheri has a long way to go and a lot to do to help his country.
I believe the World Vision Peace Prize will further strengthen his determination, and the determination of other young people in Afghanistan, to make more efforts towards the betterment of situation in their country.
Mr. Khalid great for being frank about Mr. Taheri.
He is always thinking towards his country's status in the world as one of the most important countries of the moment.
Ihsan Taheri I agree with all what you said about him and it is not enough. It can be a small part of his acheivments in the past 10 years of time being an official of the government and a current affairs young analyst.
I end my saying with pointing out one of his famous qoutations "helping the poor and working for them is a major dream that he wants to convert it into reality".
